Saw this guy at the weekend and at just 24 I was mightily impressed by his song-writing, guitar playing, voice and unbelievable maturity. So much so, I'm going to Birmingham to see him again before he returns to the US - his first time here too. Probably far too Country for folks here though, but I can't stop playing it!

Could be worth a listen Grant, as a non Country hater ;)

I really like Nightwish but can't stand their new vocalist, love Tarja and Annette was a decent replacement.

I don't mind the new singer, though TBH I prefer the earlier stuff with Tarja. Have you listened to Tarja The Luna Park Ride album?

It is only in recent years I have got in to Gary Numan.
His earlier 70's / 80's offerings never did anything for me.
The heavier sounds in more recent times are far better suited for me.
Saw him live on the Savage (an excellent album) tour last year, very good.

Still manage to get my raving boots on occasionally and was fortunate enough to see John Digweed at the weekend at a warehouse in Liverpool. The soundsystem was immense and his blend of prog-house was stunning. So today I'm working my way through his "Live in Cordoba" mix which is a recording of his 5 hour set from a gig at Tres Aguas venue in Cordoba, Argentina in 2012.

Maybe not everyone cup of tea but blimey its good.

As the skies are grey and gloomy, and the rain falls down in Wrexham, watching it drip down the window, in pearlescent silvery slithers, from the warmth and comfort of my lounge, I've chosen something moody and atmospheric to listen to, which is also rather dark but strangely comforting....
