This is what arrived in the post yesterday. I saw Marco's pic and prose of Harry Belafonte at Carnegie Hall so had to get it. I can confirm this LP is silent (ie where it is supposed to be silent). These are the best cut grooves since the parting of the Red Sea. Katie is fab too and I prefer this to the CD which is also very good. I have not heard the Albeinz yet - but the day is young.

Here's the tune mixed nicely along with Rainy Mood (a rain simulator). Living in Arizona, I miss the rainy days of Portland, Chicago, and NYC. So I always opt to listen to Rainy Mood to reminisce it when it does not rain here. I always find it fitting with this certain piece of music. Enjoy!

I must say i like this even better than Heritage! Heritage was, to me, very good, with a lot of connections with classic swedish jazz and folk, well seasoned with their progressive metal. But this is even better, feels like a record to enjoy a long time. A great album with a cohesive feeling throughout.
And yes, im spinning it again!

Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters. lullaby and the Ceaseless Road (CD). Picked up at HMV in Manchester today.

Another excellent album from Percy. Still coming up with new ideas. I wasn't very fussed on either Raising Sand or the Band of Joy and would have welcomed a further album from the Strange Sensations. I bought this on the back of seeing his Glastonbury performance on the BBC, which I thoroughly enjoyed and as his backing band are pretty much the Strange Sensations, this is perhaps just what I was looking for.

I love the production/mastering on this too nice job by Robert and Bob Ludwig; it sounded ace on the cans earlier.

Excellent album David and a fine production from regal too well its tony visconti so its gonna be well produced :) I picked it up a couple of days a go from a charity a long with a long of other jems including Keith Jarrett - The Koln Concert Vinyl you don't find that in your every day charity search but also picked up a mint copy of Otis Blue - Otis Reading - Sings Soul all for £1 but keeping the shop secret :)

Make sure you get the 2012 UME releases - Frank tinkered about with his entire catalogue when it was released on CD first time round.
Then it was tinkered with again when it was rereleased a bit later on.
Frank never did learn that his audience really wanted to hear the original releases on CD.

The UME releases are taken from the best quality and lowest generation masters available to the Zappa family, and they have the original mixes of the material.
