Perhaps his most accessible recording? I hate the categorisatisation of IDM, but there is real depth and movement to this piece of electronica, and his style is distinctive and inimatable. I love the swirling, growling synth bass - really gets the room energised.

Great stuff if you are partial to the electronic genre.

It is a warm sounding album.
The bass is full, but thankfully not treacly.
Only having tiny drive units that can't do bass helps (You wouldn't believe how much low end you can get from a 4" driver) :smoking:

I'm in the same boat, certainly not his worst but not his best, but I prefer it to the last (TTC). Quite political, but he's earned that right I think.

It does grow on you though, after say 3 plays I enjoyed it more each time. The Bird's of St. Mark's is great and I love the Woody Guthrie cover.
