Recorded in January 1996 just 10 months before her sad death at just 33. An artist who is well worth listening to IMO and supporting by buying her album, this is her first and the 2nd 'In Our Souls" was release April 2022.

Some rave reviews compared her to Kate Bush, but I would say she has a purer voice, not dissimilar to Mary Black.

I saw them at Man City's Maine Road in 1988, and while enjoyable (amazing visuals!) I find everything they've done post-Waters a bit on the bland side. Roger may be a miserable git, but I preferred PF with his angry input. Gave the music some balls.

I saw them at Man City's Maine Road in 1988, and while enjoyable (amazing visuals!) I find everything they've done post-Waters a bit on the bland side. Roger may be a miserable git, but I preferred PF with his angry input. Gave the music some balls.

I sort of concur but, I did like A Momentary Lapse Of Reason; the production on it was very of the time but, I did like the album as a whole and especially the intro Signs Of Life!!

Loz, if you're not averse to tribute acts, I can highly recommend Australian Pink Floyd - I saw them in Liverpool a few years ago and they were excellent. They're doing 2 nights at Birmingham's Symphony Hall in November as part of their "Dark Side of the Moon 1973-2023" tour.

I think I may have seen Think Floyd a few years ago at a large bike festival. Really good. The bass on "Breathe" in particular had me trouser legs flapping :)

indeed... not really fair but folk get tempted especially these days. ive a few hundred to sell still but im not able to post them off to folk now so they are just sitting upstairs, hopefully increasing in value

Depends on the venue - our nearest Sunday bootsale, opens to buyers at 10:00, and that applies to private and trade sellers, as well as to the general public. It is quite well 'policed'.

I will only buy LPs of Classical music from private sellers - for two reasons: they are usually in very good condition, and traders are not interested in them.

I find traders, in the main, to be arrogant 845t4rds, they only care about how much they prize out of you and have little interest in the items that they sell other than their value and, they view most people as just targets for money; if you try and barter with them, you get the feeling that they think of you as an irritating tight fisted pain in the 4r5e!!!! My attitude in a nutshell is...... 4Q AND UR STUFF FOR SALE!!! Like others have said previously, I just dont bother with them.
