I suspect Two Mules is mine, I really hope it gets a decent reish soon.
I have so so copies of the original UK and US issues, and the Italian CD I was playing earlier is a dodgy reish ripped from a clean record but the recording levels were set too high so there's splash and distortion on the high peaks.. :doh:
Might be some of it on the monnicone 60th release. Ive been tempted to buy this for a while.

There seems to be quite a bit of interest in classic soundtracks at the moment. there's some nice ltd reissues crawling out of the woodwork if you can spot them before they are all snapped up.

Another nice one. The Kraftwerk one has me jealous. Autobahn is the only one I've found on vinyl that wasn't more than I cared to pay. That playlist is really good I haven't heard a song I didn't like yet.

Saw them on this tour at the Usher Hall Edinburgh and Bob Calvert gave an impromptu stand up show for about 30 minutes as they had lost all power, even running through the crowd and amp throwing lol, keeping us all entertained whilst they fixed the problem. Superb show, always been a great live band and still are 😉

I didn't know it had been reissued in the metal box. Have thought about trying to clean mine up but scared of it going around wrong even with metal conditioner

That's pretty cool. I haven't seen the reissue either. $40 is about my limit for albums. I make a few exceptions. I have to want it pretty bad.

It's a bit of a grower from what I've been told.
The guy who owns the indie record store down here said he played it by chance one day and a few copies sold immediately so he tried it again the following weekend with the same result .. a couple of months into the year and it's his favourite album so far and also the shop's best seller, beating Elbow (can't stand them anyway!).

Just giving Rick Wakeman's latest work a listen. If you are a lover of the piano it's a very interesting idea, some more obviously suited to the piano but others that are treated to an open richness that is quite unexpected. It won't be to everyone's taste but a classically trained pianist wrapping the ivories around Stairway to Heaven and Swan Lake might please other ears.

Damned this is good! Why is it that some music just grabs you by the heart/balls and thrashes you around emotionally?
Try their Live In Newport DVD Acoustic set. By about track 9 it starts getting incredible.
There's a BluRay to with the same gig plus an electric one.
Trust me if you like the Pixies... get it.

Excellent choice, will have to spin some Pat Travers later.
Have seen him live a number of times, great guitarist who can rock.
Though the last time I saw him the second guitarist did a lot of his work for him.
Still enjoyed the gig though, actually saw him live in Toronto once
