Excellent choice, will have to spin some Pat Travers later.
Have seen him live a number of times, great guitarist who can rock.
Though the last time I saw him the second guitarist did a lot of his work for him.
Still enjoyed the gig though, actually saw him live in Toronto once

I saw him way back in 1979, he opened for AC/DC back when Bon Scott was singing. It was a show to remember. Pat Travers was so great I didn't see how AC/DC could top it! But they were both excellent.

Shes a hound now, and thats an insult to the dog race :eyebrows: still she is in her 70's, and was always thin. Thin folk often dont age too well facially. She had a great voice, and was a top writer too, as well as being hot in her day. All more than i achieved....well apart from the hot bit :ner:

Great record. Maybe it's just me but the production always sounded a bit muddy to my ears. Still love it though

I was listening to a ripped version off the server, not sure what vintage the CD version is (original or re-mastered), but it sounds fine.
Though I do know what you mean, some versions of music can sound very different. probably depending on who mastered it or Re-Mastered.

Wonderful quirky and somewhat attitude laden last studio album from Canadian singer/songwritter Lisa Dalbello . Wish she would release a new album or her not-released Rubert Hine produced album would be released.

If you like Alanis Morissette then Dalbello will be right up your street, except Lisa came first and is a much better vocalist and song writer in my opinion.

I didn't know she did much more than She, but that one is quite good!

Listened to this again this afternoon and was very pleased with it, when I put it on I thought I'd forgotten to turn the amp up the lead in was so quiet lol.

A great LP, clear, Geddy's bass really stood out.

For £9.99 I'd say it's a good buy.

EDIT:On the way home just now, I heard another track Faith Healer which I'd completely forgotten about. Absolutely brilliant first 2 1/2 minutes, and personally i like the whole track. Musically creative.

That's exactly what I thought when I saw it in the rack. I'd been playing some Stevie Wonder and it was just there, looking at me, daring me to play it ..

I must say it sounds better now than it did three decades ago mainly because I've listened to so much more jazz since I bought it so I can appreciate more what it was they were trying to do.
The recording quality is excellent - it sounds fantastic on the original vinyl version I've got - and some of the sudden changes from late night cool jazz to hot latin are astonishing and really get your toes tapping :D

Out of interest, I took a look on discogs to see how much their stuff is going for - I have the second LP too - and they're dirt cheap on vinyl (£2.49 for a near mint copy) but the double reissue CD is still full-price at £12+. The original CD is supposed to sound terrible though so if anyone fancies it I'd get the LP :)
