A most informative link, Anthony, so thanks for sharing!:)

This bit for me sums it up [with due emphasis on what I consider as being the most important bits]:

Don’t get your COVID-19 vaccine advice from politicians or pharmaceutical companies, said William Schaffner, medical director of the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases and a professor at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Instead, trust independent scientists and medical professionals — your doctor, for instance, or your state’s health commissioner.

But those people, in turn, need transparency from the drugmakers and government to be able to give informed advice. That means drug companies and the FDA should be disclosing not just trial data but also the standards they used to evaluate that data, their methods of analysis, and the reasoning behind any decisions they make about potential vaccines.

Being published in a peer-reviewed journal probably isn’t even enough transparency, said Peter Doshi, an associate editor at The BMJ (formerly the British Medical Journal) and a professor at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. “If the underlying data are not available, we shouldn’t consider these products as based in a scientific process that allowed clinicians and researchers to review the data themselves,” he wrote in an email. There’s too much riding on the line.

Hear, hear!!!

i will be taking it although probably will be down the list a little, which is fine. nhs, care homes/ and regular visitors and the very elderly will be in front. this all if it gets passed. 20 m people can get done with this one. the oxford one may be valid too and we should hear about it in a few weeks. i guess there will be a good few million of that available too.

again the logistics of moving this stuff around will be a big issue as it has to be kept very cold.

i dont see any reason why anyone would think its been tampered with in any way. its never ever happened,

Marco

Not necessarily a case of it having been tampered with, but as already explained in detail, sufficient grounds for some of us believing that it's been rushed through, largely for commercial reasons (big pharma and those heavily invested in them profiting HUGELY from sales of the vaccines), thus not properly tested as being safe, as much as would happen in normal circumstances.

Surely you can see how that could be a possibly, even if you don't think it would happen?

That's why I won't be taking ANY risks in that respect, no matter how small, over something that in all likelihood I don't really need. You don't gamble with a perfectly healthy body, mate, as it's THE most important thing you have. Different in your case, unfortunately with the opposite.

.. just when you said you wanted to see the tests on what the govt and royal family will be given to see if they are the same, i assumed you thought there were more than one version,, no probs, and just my view on it. no doubt pharmacutical co's have been on occasion been led by profits; many occasions too, so obviously there will be some risk in bring out a vaccine in a year that should take 10.
Thing is that if we cant get back to nearer normal, the economies of west especially but all economies, will crash and burn. Then we or most of we, will perish anyway. folk like me especially.

Marco
10-11-2020, 16:48
Sure, but the Royal family thing was what Anthony wrote, not me. You'll notice I didn't quote that part of his post. I don't necessarily disagree with him in that respect, but would rather concentrate on what I've just outlined, as it's more likely to be real.

In terms of your last point, I fully agree, but with something as personally/biologically invasive as a *potentially unsafe* vaccine [or not as safe as it should be], it's all about self-preservation, mate. I'll only be on this earth for a further maximum of 40 years (if I'm very lucky), and I intend on living those to the full, in as much rude health as I'm able to. Therefore, what happens when I'm gone, in my circumstances, especially without having kids to consider, is of no real concern.

In any case, I suspect that the vast majority of the population will take the vaccine, so as I said, let's hope it works and has the effect you've outlined!

Bring it on! I personally have no fear of Covid, and similarly no fear of having the vaccine. If it enables those at high risk to be around me, it's worth the risk imo, because I'm already sick of us limping from one lockdown to another.

Meanwhile all those not prepared to have the vaccine could be bussed out to Anglesey or the Isle of Wight for a period of quarantine, and let the virus run its course. Sounds a bit harsh, but food and tents would be provided. Be like a music festival, but without the music. Or the drugs. Definitely no drugs.

I read somewhere that the entire population of the world, stood shoulder to shoulder would fit on the isle of Wight. Not sure if the toilets would cope, but putting you on Anglesey should help lighten the load :)

I could have this entirely wrong, but I have a notion that the entire human population could pack into a small island on the East Coast of Africa and it would be like a crowded cocktail party.

IIRC, the book was called "To stand on Zanzibar" by John Brunner.

First time I went to Switzerland I was troubled by local habits. The toilets had the usual flushing device and washbasin. But a curious device inbetween called a Bidet.

What's it for? Never quite figured it out.

And then bedtime. No sheets or blankets. Just a big fluffy thing called a Duvet.

Well, I just coped.

Then when I went to Austria, Mr. Thomas Crapper's splendid invention had undergone a redesign. When you did your Number Two, it just sat and stared at you.

Rather unhygienic IMO. Apparently it is normal in Germanic countries to inspect your output. Because they eat raw meat, they are interested in checking for worms.

Funny lot, those Foreigners. Thank goodness for Brexit.

Spanish toilets were disgusting holes in the ground. The French Pissoirs in Paris were not the worst design I have ever seen. At least in an engineering sense.

Things improved in Scandinavia. And they had novel ideas about bathroom showers. The whole floor was some sort of drain.

I always think you can judge a potential employer by the standard of their bathrooms.

After 3 weeks of flogging round Southern Europe in August, and the heat and the flies, I made a sensible decision and went North. I wanted rain and damp.

Nipped through Denmark. and onto Sweden. Sweden was fascinating. I had no idea about the language, but everybody was terrifically friendly and I remet my friend Peter Gustafson in Orebro.

My last destination was Norway. I had a little Norwegian sweetheart called Eva in Moss. I had met her in London. Moss, I now know, is the town where SEAS loudspeakers do their business.

A happy week in Norway. But the bathroom plumbing was unfamiliar. As was Eva's mother, who wandered round the house half-naked most of the time.

Let’s spell it out, for those who don’t know the history. The BBC was set up to limit free speech.

In June 1920, Marconi, with backing from the Daily Mail, made the first (private) radio broadcast in Britain. The British State, run by Britain’s ruling class, was horrified. They feared the masses, and they feared free mass communication. In America there had been an explosion of private radio stations, broadcasting whatever they liked. Within months, radio broadcasting in Britain had been banned. Scores of private companies were itching to get into radio broadcasting and repeatedly petitioned the government. In response, the British State announced in 1922 that it would control all radio broadcasting. When TV came along, the same thing happened. Companies like Marconi, the Daily Mail, HMV, EMI and others were dying to plunge in. But TV was declared to be a State monopoly.

Indeed... I wouldn't consider the figures quoted to be particularly accurate, for the very reasons you've outlined, and which I also did way back on this thread.

For me, for *whatever reason*, dubious or otherwise [among other things, I'd suggest to encourage a high take-up of the vaccine once it's properly rolled out], they (the government/media/powers that be) WANT the stats to look worse than they are, and to paint the gloomiest picture possible of the situation we're in with this pandemic.

Absolutely, which is why I *NEVER* take as gospel a single word that the BBC (or most mainstream media) have to say, as its invariably driven by agenda and bias.

Therefore, in that respect, swallowing everything that the likes of the BBC news reports (on any important subject) is, quite simply, the behaviour of a gullible muppet. If you want the truth on any matter, or closer to it than the BBC will ever disclose, then use less regulated and controlled, independent sources instead, for such information.

However, what's worth noting, considering the situation we're in at the moment with Covid-19, is the MENTALITY of the 'powers that be', in terms of censoring anything that they consider is 'dangerous' for the masses to know, or that will expose their brainwashing. That stuff didn't just happen back then; it's STILL happening, and indeed alive and kicking, NOW...

And that is why we must continue using all the available uncensored channels we can, in order to EXPOSE their lies and reveal the truth!

Back in the '80s a friend of mine's mother was a doctor. There was some issue with Government reforms that blew up a bit and was in the news as it was thought the doctors might actually go on strike.

Anyway the doctors at her hospital held a meeting to decide what they were going to do. A BBC news crew showed up and asked to film it. They had the meeting and when it breaks up the BBC bloke was not happy because there was no vote. Someone explained to him that this wasn't a trade union meeting and they just talked and reached a consensus about what action was to be taken, there was no need for a vote.

However when the segment was shown on the six o'clock news, the accompanying footage did show these same doctors solemnly raising their hands, ostensibly in a 'vote'.

What actually happened was that shortly after the meeting started the tea-lady had come in and asked 'Hands up who wants tea? Hands up who wants coffee'. And the BBC had used their footage of that to accompany the report.

Interesting story... Some valid 'real world' proof then of how keen they are to skew the reporting of events towards how THEY want to portray them, regardless of the reality!

Therefore, people would do well to bear that in mind when they're watching the BBC news' portrayal of the Coronavirus crisis, and also how apparently 'safe' the forthcoming vaccine will be!

Most of what you read in the papers is lies. Probably goes for other media too.

Whenever I have read a report about this and that, that I know about, most of it is factually wrong.

The only one I trust is the Financial Times. Their readership is in the Inner Circle anyway. So well-informed.

The Telegraph is good in times of war, since it is the Military's favourite reading.

Don't get me onto the BBC and The Guardian. They have an agenda. Ever noticed how bad both of them are on Horse-racing?

I don't think they approve.

Yes, I always found that to be the case too.

Re newspapers - as usual Yes Minister provides all the answers:

I know exactly who reads the papers. The Daily Mirror is read by people who think they run the country. The Guardian is read by people who think they ought to run the country. The Times is read by people who actually do run the country. The Daily Mail is read by the wives of the people who run the country. The Financial Times is read by people who own the country. The Morning Star is read by the people who think the country should be run by another country. And the Daily Telegraph is read by people who think it is.

The Government aren't telling us this, but why has Covid-19 suddenly exploded? Enquiring minds want to know.

Her grandaughters have had their Gosport school shut again, due to Covid. Portsmouth University is infested with the germ.

Because they want as many folks as possible to take the vaccine (simple formula: the more you make 'em worry about catching the virus, by falsely inflating the death figures and number of infections, the likelier they'll be to open their veins for a 'cure'...), so the big pharmas who've produced the vaccines, and their investors, controlling the agenda, can all get filthy rich beyond their wildest dreams!;)

Why? Do you think the elite give a shite about the world or the minions populating it, as long as they're the ones in control, with all the money (and of everyone who's left, for them to rule)? Course not!

Why do you think Gates retired from Microsoft? Because he had much bigger fish to fry! And his 'interests' in AstraZeneca (and other big pharma), once the vaccines properly start rolling out to the WORLD population, will ensure that he'll become far wealthier and more powerful than in his wildest dreams, before this pandemic happened...

Meeting Sir Bob Geldof and looking after his bag. Rescuing Princess Margaret from a stuck lift.

There's a LOT of questionable stuff for our election. In my state there was a 67% turn out in the county with the most people in it.... 22% over a nationwide all time high turn out? I dunno... My great uncle voted for the first time in his life and he's 83/4 (forget his B-day) and can't read. He brought multiple forms of ID and everything he could to register and vote same day. He started to show them and they said "oh we don't need to look at that, just go right over there and vote"... He has some concerns about what's going on since anyone can vote all they want - could California have went Red for the first time since who knows if ever?

The affidavits signed are very interesting for Michigan. The election is a giant mess, it truly is... And I honestly doubt if it was done right Biden would win; in particular now that people are realizing his new name is Lock Down Joe. Consider that his new expert is recommending borrowing money to pay people for another 4-6 week lock down that's nation wide and comprehensive... Utter nightmare. I don't think anyone who hates Trump felt they were voting for that.

What's really concerning is the stuff like they want to have tribunals for Trump supporters, come to your house take your firearms, make a social ranking system, and guarantee there's no manufacturing so we give all our money to China through Amazon... The country that started this f'ing mess. It wasn't that many years ago that Republicans where the globalist war mongers... now it's the Democrats? It seems like it flipped with Obama, and even then his base rejected the horrid trade agreement but now there won't be anyone to stop it because everyone's gone party-blind. Not pointing the finger at anyone here, but:

Lockdown Joe? Is that what people are calling him? And is this a criticism? The American people have every right to criticise thus as it affects them. But perhaps not us, and certainly not anyone who criticised our government for being late with the first lockdown.

i was talking about other countries like russia etc who just try and steal vaccines..

reports today...

Microsoft says it has detected cyber-attacks from Russia and North Korea targeting seven companies involved in researching vaccines

and treatments for Covid-19.

The company’s vice-president, Tom Burt, said in a blog post that the targets included leading pharmaceutical companies and vaccine researchers in Canada, France, India, South Korea and the United States.

The attacks came from one group in Russia and two in North Korea.

The "majority" of these attacks were said to have been blocked and the companies informed.

It is not the first time that states have been accused of targeting vaccine work.

In July, the UK said Russian intelligence was behind the targeting of UK research, including on the Oxford vaccine. The US also accused China of similar activity.

All of this is part of a global race for a vaccine as countries seek advantage over each other.

not enough to be smart you also have to have the knowledge. Almost all new pharmaceuticals are developed in Europe and the USA and 75% are manufactured in Europe. If you don't have those decades of background in the science and the infrastructure it's a lot quicker to steal the knowledge rather than start from scratch and develop it yourselves.

The main reason i sugested in an earlier post that the vaccine be randomly tested batch by batch was because i [along with many others i presume] suspected that there may not be anything in the vaccine to help immunise the person receiving it, think about it, if this whole thing has been a fabrication, then all it would take is a placebo injection to be at least 90% effective.
The governments have already admited that a positive test result does not mean the person tested has Cov-2 virus, also if this Dr is correct in what he is stating, Cov-2 virus hasnt even been isolated, and therefore identified as the virus responsible for all of this.
Indeed, and in terms of what written in the article, what did I say before about Fauci and his cronies, who've all got vested interests in the sale of these vaccines, so you can't trust a word that they say - and certainly not follow their advice to the letter about how to handle this pandemic!

I am not saying this is the case, but you have to wonder.
The Flu vaccine is at best 50% effective, and they have been studying that for many years, how have they managed to develope a vaccine for a brand new corona virus that is 90% effective in around 9 months, thats the big question everyone should be asking.

They mutate extremely fast so are a moving and hard to hit target.

They breed in crowded environments.

I see where you're coming from.

However, it's *defo* not flu, as some friends of ours have had it (one in particular got it very bad and was hospitalised for a period with Covid Pneumonia). That was over 2 months ago, and she's still suffering now from the effects of 'Long Covid', with the associated 'brain fog' (can't retain memory of much for more than minutes) and has almost completely lost her sense of taste and smell - none of which she's ever had with flu.

So... Regardless of anything else, I'm convinced that this virus is quite different from flu.

The Flu vaccine is at best 50% effective, and they have been studying that for many years, how have they managed to develope a vaccine for a brand new corona virus that is 90% effective in around 9 months, thats the big question everyone should be asking.

Indeed - and IMO that's the more cogent point, and certainly something I've been questioning for a while. Quite frankly, it STNKS of an agenda (as yet to be revealed), and also why I don't consider it as being anywhere near safe, and indeed have warned off everyone healthy enough I know and care about from having it!

Yes, so they say, but should we simply accept that as Gospel? Especially with something so critical to our future well-being. I'd like to drill down much more into the details and see some proper evidence of that with my OWN eyes.

In any case, even if that were true, there's still no way of knowing what the potential side-effects of these new vaccines will be in six, twelve months or more - and THAT for me is the biggest concern, not their claimed efficacy in the short term - especially when come the spring, this virus will almost certainly have petered out.

You don't just inject something, relatively untried like this into you, without being as intensely critical as possible of how safe it really is, especially when you're still relatively young and healthy and, God willing otherwise, have many years ahead of you!

You only get ONE chance to make the right decision with these forthcoming vaccines. Get it wrong, and the potential consequences could be life-changing - and NOT in a good way!:nono:

What ever is going on, and who ever is closest to the truth, at least its getting people interested enough to want to read up on the info that's out there from credible people and sources, and that can only be a good thing.
Yes, so they say, but should we simply accept that as Gospel? Especially with something so critical to our future well-being. I'd like to drill down much more into the details and see some proper evidence of that with my OWN eyes.

In any case, even if that were true, there's still no way of knowing what the potential side-effects will be in six, twelve months or more - and THAT for me is the biggest concern, not it's claimed effectiveness in the short term.

You don't just inject something, relatively untried like this into you, without being as intensely critical as possible of how safe it really is, especially when you're still relatively young and healthy and, God willing, have many years ahead of you!

As a bookish man, I am aware of previous pandemics.

The 50% fatal and vile Bubonic Plague in 15C was far nastier than this current one.

The response was entirely wrong. People killed off the cats and dogs in London. Thought they were the cause.

This allowed the Rats and their fleas, who were the real culprits to breed and multiply.

There was an interesting Economic consequence. The Working man, who was suddenly in shortage, saw his Wages rise.

And we still say "Bless you" when somebody sneezes. A folk memory.

Mark Lynas, a visiting fellow at Cornell University’s Alliance for Science group, debunked the idea that a DNA vaccine could genetically modify an organism. Lynas told Reuters that no vaccine can genetically modify human DNA.

“That’s just a myth, one often spread intentionally by anti-vaccination activists to deliberately generate confusion and mistrust,” he said. “Genetic modification would involve the deliberate insertion of foreign DNA into the nucleus of a human cell, and vaccines simply don’t do that. Vaccines work by training the immune system to recognize a pathogen when it attempts to infect the body - this is mostly done by the injection of viral antigens or weakened live viruses that stimulate an immune response through the production of antibodies.”

Lynas added: “The DNA [in DNA vaccines] does not integrate into the cell nucleus so this isn’t genetic modification - if the cells divide they will only include your natural DNA. But this approach is incredibly promising for COVID because it can be scaled up very quickly, and is very versatile - it is easy to synthetically produce DNA sequences that match the required bits of viral genetic code.”

Dr Paul McCray, Professor of Pediatrics, Microbiology, and Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa further explained to Reuters via email how the COVID-19 vaccines being developed would work:

RNA encodes the information to produce the antigen, which is a protein from a pathogen, that will stimulate the immune system. Inside the cells, the RNA is used to synthesize the antigen, which is exposed to the cell surface. Then, a subset of immune system cells recognizes the antigen and trigger an immune response .

mitochondrial DNA is inherited from mother only in contrast with nuclear DNA which inherited from both of parents.. There are two types of nucleic acids which are polymers found in all living cells. Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) is found mainly in the nucleus of the cell, while Ribonucleic Acid (RNA) is found mainly in the cytoplasm of the cell although it is usually synthesized in the nucleus.
DNA is inherited.

An antigen is any substance that causes your immune system to produce antibodies against it. This means your immune system does not recognize the substance, and is trying to fight it off. An antigen may be a substance from the environment, such as chemicals, bacteria, viruses, or pollen

Kind of puts it into perspective... So being only 0.38% at risk of succumbing to the virus, and as healthy person otherwise, with a strong immune system, why would I risk having a vaccine that's arguably not been as thoroughly tested as would've been the case in different circumstances, plus that's not only well short of being totally effective, but potentially unsafe?

And there'll be thousands of others like me! As I've said many times before, HERD IMMUNITY, is the only *REAL* longterm solution to this virus, as indeed has been the case with countless others mankind has faced and dealt with before it.

The English biologist Thomas Huxley once said, "Science is nothing but trained and organised common sense."

Science has supposedly been at the centre of UK and world government policy making over the past few months of the pandemic, and yet common sense has been in short supply.

Dr Martin Kulldorff, is a Swedish statistician, epidemiologist and Professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and has worked closely with some of the world’s leading scientific and medical institutions.

Alongside Dr Sunetra Gupta, Professor of Theoretical Epidemiology in the Department of Zoology at Oxford University and Dr Jay Bhattacharya, Professor of Medicine and Economics at Stanford University, they have published The Great Barrington Declaration.

The Declaration comprises a much debated and considered petition that has called on those in the corridors of power to reformulate their response to the pandemic and put an end to the blanket lockdowns, that are crippling the economy, destroying business and damaging the physical and mental wellbeing of our citizens.

They call for "Focussed Protection" and suggest that young adults and children, the least affected by the virus, be allowed to continue their lives without restriction. This includes ensuring that the elderly and most vulnerable members of our society are shielded from exposure and protected from a virus risk, representing a thousandfold difference between the oldest and youngest in terms of impact.

There is genuine concern about the future. Of course, we have to deal in the here and now, but, Covid-19 is not going anywhere, it will be with us indefinitely. Which is why many scientists believe that overtly safeguarding ourselves from the virus will only serve to delay the inevitable.

How "Focussed Protection" Can Prevent Lockdowns & Get The World Back To Work

It is far from a radical train of thought. It comes from a group of people who clearly care deeply about society and its citizens. They rely on logic and evidence and a heavy dose of pragmatism.

Listening to experts whose very livelihoods centre around exactly what we are dealing with, is paramount to our prosperity moving forward. The world is not just facing a physical threat, we are also on the brink of a global mental health crisis that could have dire consequences in the years that follow. The collateral damage requires equal thought and attention.

There is a need, now more than at any time during this pandemic, to look at the data. To consider our options, and use the knowledge we have gained throughout these past months to formulate a logical roadmap, that can lead us some way back to normality. Dr Kulldorff is an expert in the truest sense of the word, and it’s a pleasure to spend some time exploring his views.

True. I don't agree with the anti-vaxxers but they should be able to state their case without being legislated against.

Indeed; there's a difference though between 'anti-vaxxers', with a history of behaving as such [especially those with malicious intent], and folks simply expressing their legitimate concerns over the genuine safety, both in the short and long term, of the forthcoming and largely untried vaccines for Covid-19.

Both should be allowed in the interests of free speech in a supposedly democratic and free society, thus left uncensored. There's a danger now of creating a culture of censoring everything that either challenges the accepted norm or what the authorities consider as 'correct' - and that's a very dangerous and slippery slope to go down.

Quite simply, any decisions made by our authorities should always be open to close scrutiny/questioning/challenging or criticism, and if necessary rejection by the general population, as if not, that's the fastest way towards fascism and the creation of a police state... So I would always fight for the right to such free speech, and not simply the blind obeying of what any 'experts' or authorities say or want us to do.

That's the only way of retaining both a free society, and most importantly a free mind!:)

Anthony, what's the source of your excellent post? Link please?:)

I agree there with every word. One of the biggest problems just now is that the government are being led (or let's hope it's that and not something more sinister) by the wrong science, thus wrong advice, and which is why they've made such a pig's ear of this whole thing!:rolleyes:

Even more importantly, the general population, not just in this country, but that of the whole world, unless making the required effort themselves to seek out alternative scientific views, in terms of how this pandemic should be handled instead, are being deprived of that information and simply fed 'our way or the highway' by the governments and media.

Instead, there should be much more discussion and debate of these matters in the public domain and mainstream TV and media, so that people can make the most INFORMED choices, for THEM and the RIGHT decisions for THEM, many of which now are massively important for their lives and futures, rather than simply accepting what is deemed as 'best' by the government.

However, with the help of the Internet and social media 'alternative truths' are getting out now and helping to dilute the brainwash, along with more information, both scientific and political, other than what the authorities want us to know, which can only be a good thing - and AoS will certainly be doing its part to facilitate that and ensure that everyone reading this thread, on Google searches or whatever, are kept as well informed as possible on matters relating to the handling of this pandemic.

Thanks Anthony

Sure, but give us an example of what you consider as "misinformation"? You have to be careful that such doesn't simply equate to anything that challenges the authorities/accepted norm, or deviates from 'the party line'....

I'd contend that this Tory government have been as guilty of perpetrating the spreading of misinformation (disinformation in particular), in relation to their (mis)handling of this whole pandemic, just as much as the people you're talking about!;)

Marco.

Yeah, that's not going to happen as I've no idea how to post links, that's assuming I read this stuff online, which I don't. Much of what I hear is anecdotal, coming from friends/colleagues/family, and I never question where they got it from, I just choose to believe it or not. (I imagine most of it comes from social media, which I don't entertain, ever. Tinternet for me is 99% AoS/Ebay).

In the same way I never asked you for evidence supporting your assertion that the Royal Family are paedophiles. Apart from Princess Anne, who probably enjoys a big horse, I'm sure they are largely no worse than Joe Public. One day I may see some evidence to prove me wrong, but until then...

no she never wanted the top job and always knew she would be unlikely to get it. She just hated the life. Have to say I dont blame her. She was stymied for her desire to marry Peter T, by queen and Philip. Fell into a loveless marriage and then went off the rails. Townsend was a divorcee so not suitable to marry a royal.. Such attitudes were rapidly becoming outdated but the royals etc were living in the past as usual... all very sad.

Exactly, Dave. You can be critical of something without being 'anti' it. There's a rather BIG difference! Or must all dissenting voices simply be silenced? Sounds rather like South Korea to me...

Plus, if the government and scientists concerned were a bit more honest/upfront and more willing to reassure the population that they were safe, backed up by convincing and credible evidence, then there would be much less suspicion and distrust surrounding the existence of these vaccines, and far less ammo for the rabid 'anti vaxxers' to use to further their agenda!

They simply can't just expect everyone to 'worry not and trust the experts', and obey the government like subservient robots, with something so *potentially* risky as this. I've never taken what I consider as unnecessary or dangerous risks with my health before (one of the reasons why I'm healthy now and haven't been near a doctor in YEARS), and don't intend changing that habit of a lifetime now - for ANY fucker!:nono:

"Don't worry, these largely untried and brand new vaccines are 90% effective and completely safe, trust us". Aye, that'll be fucking coco... Nah, you're ok. I'll trust the effectiveness of my immune system instead, and which has worked just fine for the last 55 years thanks, without needing 'chemically assisted'

........

"If you get symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) again, you must self-isolate immediately and get a test.

The symptoms are a high temperature, a new, continuous cough or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.

You can get a test to check if you have coronavirus on GOV.UK.

You should also self-isolate again if:

someone you live with gets symptoms
someone in your support bubble gets symptoms and you were in close contact with them since their symptoms started or during the 48 hours before they started
The person with symptoms should get a test."

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/self-isolation-and-treatment/what-to-do-if-you-get-symptoms-again/

Thanks to System 7 for the heads up.

Interesting how our money’s being spent on Private Heathcare rather than saving the NHS!

Extract from Private Eye.

In total, after further payments to Care UK, Bupa Cromwell, Nuffield Health and Aspen Healthcare, sums handed to private hospital operators in the first week of the Covid contract came to £98m. The agreement, under which most of the private hospitals were little called upon but paid anyway, runs to the end of December for most firms, which have also been able to perform more of their core private work since the summer.

The numbers suggest the annual subsidy to companies is running into a few billion pounds a year – enough to have provided the NHS capacity now having to be bought in so expensively. NHS England refused to comment on the figures. Still, as all bills are checked by erstwhile Carillion auditor KPMG, what could go wrong?

Meanwhile, with non-Covid procedures backing up, in August NHS England put out a £10bn contract tender notice for the same private operators to bid for more NHS work. Thanks to its rolling taxpayer bail-out, long Covid has a healthy prognosis for Britain’s private hospital companies.

What the complainers need to realise is that the above are normal, and every single person does it to a point, even if its slightly subconsciously. It is impossible not to. I sincerely hope it is rolled out sooner than later and also becomes mandatory, the sooner everyone is vaccinated, the sooner life will return to normal...

Amen !

Give thanks and hail the King of kings ! ;)

One and all need to know the time and dispensation and that we are in a spiritual battle, this is spiritual warfare, right here and now. Some are aware and awake, some are asleep, unfortunately, therefore easy pray for the devil and his hosts, rulers of darkness in this world, who operate in high place...

The best thing about the bible is that it is so full of contradictory twaddle that you can make it fit any argument you like.
