If it's longevity we're talking about I got this Citizen for my 18th birthday making it over 43 years old & still keeping good time.It's a little small at 36mm but that was the norm back then.

Well that went back in the box, it was like it was ticking your life away..
Fossils were in the same box so bunged this on, Novel way of adjusting the date, the crown pulls out as normal to adjust the hands then a further pull on the crown changes the date.

Yes it’s a quartz.
I like that the font and Parnis styling look like their own brand rather than simply copies. Of course they are.. but look a tad classier than that.
I ordered an Alpha brand orange thingy. ...never arrived but I suppose it might do one day.
It’s an Omega copy.. but looking at the pictures again, wish I hadn’t bothered. I blame wine fuelled purchases

Colin & I both have Seiko divers watches... mine has a black dial and his a lovely orange dial....I love them and reckon they are a bargain. It was almost impossible to get the ladies version, I think I got it from the US in the end

I did the same with some straps that came from China & wiped the straps with disinfectant before I used them.
We lived in India for 5 years, and over there it was quite normal to drop all the fruit and veg into a bucket of Milton every day. Funny to be starting that all over again.

The one I’m really really impressed by is this. Getting more difficult to find.. especially when they can be had for around £250. Given the quality this is a steal compared with the majority of so called hi end watches.

Was going to go for the Omega at the end of this summer, but my consultancy work had taken a hit! (Not too mention the spends on my Technics SP10).
So pulled the trigger on this one. Whilst admittedly my judgement clouded by wine, kind of glad I did now. Confirms that I really like the watch style and presence.
So just have to wait for pension funds to recover (said the eternal optimist) and the world to discover a vaccine.

At one point they were relatively cheap against other Speedy's though the silver face was always more a premium... But once money started making no interest they shot up... I have a dinky wrist so always loved the Racing with its smaller diameter...

I’ve bought a number of invictas from them and they’ve all been fine. Where ever you buy that brand they always appear heavily discounted but I’ve never seen anyone sell them at full price, even Invicta themselves!

I changed the ND type strap on this SRPA83K1 because it was a bit hard and ungiving, the Archer silicone is a lot more comfortable.

Never got on with the stock SKX strap, tried it a while but not so much.
You just "know" when the watch / strap combo works for you.
Had it on Nato's, leather Rally's but this is the only one that is made to fit in with the curve of the case, a small detail that makes such a big difference.
Of the watch's I have, this is my top 3 - more cost doesn't make a better watch

Very nice, I think I am partial to the black one as well, but with both, you can accessorize as you feel, when you get ready to go out on the town Grant. Oh wait, not until the all clear is sounded, of course!

quite good value in my opinion.. get a case etc and the bracelet is decent. even fits me. keep good time too and quite thin. look better in flesh imo as well... but they are not like your higher quality stuff for sure:)

Oh yes, I'd forgotten about your wrist issue, guess it's worth the extra few quid if you know it's going to fit and they look quite elegant on the mesh strap, they wouldn't suit your longer natos.
Just reminded me a little of this watch. I got 2 of these brand new in box in a job lot of 6 watches I got for £18 (face looks iffy because the plastic foil is still on). I subsequently sold 2 of the watches out of the lot for £20!

Oysterflex rubber strap is only available in gold, white gold, and rose gold versions.
He’d fitted the rubber strap as he preferred the look.
Over on the Rolex forums it’s a bit of a thing apparently, few guys have done it there.
Can see why, the 116500LN SS is half the price of the white gold one.
That and the Monaco were my two grail’s, so when one came up that was “do-able” I bit the bullet and did.

Hope they go as smoothly as the resize on the Blacklist bracelet (thanks for the positive comments :) ) pins came out and went back in smoothly & I managed to do a fine adjustment using the spring bar in the clasp without pinging it across the room & losing it.

Too chunky looking with the traditional Nato way of lacing it up, but works well with the “over-under” way I think.
