I deal in real-life experiences, Steve; that's what matters to me, not what 'computer says'. Btw, I'm not 'dissing' British culture; I'm constructively criticising it.

So, if you're a less-blinkered Brit with a 'broader palette', how often does Anita cook all these wonderful foods the world has to offer - or how often do you seek them out in other ways?

You've already admitted to being picky over foreign food, so I'd argue that that pickiness limits your ability to have a broader palette and be less blinkered.

Marco.
[need an emoji here to illustrate a head hurting from banging against a brick wall!] I would direct you to the last two lines of post #1043, a point I've made ad nauseum ever since I joined this thread (on your invitation )

But to save you a search, I'll say it again: I'm by no means representative of British food culture, I'm just too picky!

Anita really doesn't have the time to cook all these wonderful foods the world has to offer, she has far too much shit going on in her life like you wouldn't believe.

And to go back to your first line: I really am not bothered - I'm just indulging your favourite two topics - food, and getting into some heavy banter over it And that's because I'm a nice person

Nearly lunchtime, which today will be a tuna omelette. Ten minutes prep, ten minutes to eat. Bish bash bosh. Then an hour of tunes while it settles, then off to the gym. That's what my afternoon looks like.
