Hi Simon,Marco, in your view how would they compare and would my Sugden A21a drive them ok?
I've not heard the Proacs, so couldn't compare the two. Your Sugden should be fine for the job, though.
However, as it's Sevenoaks in Brighton selling the Leemas, perhaps you could take your amp along and demo it with them - or is Brighton a bit too far away?

Dare I say it......Focal 7 & 8 series come up pretty cheap on eBay fairly regularly. I've rewired my 716's with 4TC and put Mundorf's in the xovers and they sound a million dollars. Much better than you'd think.
The only thing I'd say about them is that you need to listen to them 1st because they can sound a bit forward if you're not careful.
If they work with your system, they are exceptional VFM. Very accurate and tight.

Not too far. I am hatching a plan to escape (with the A21a) before the wife and little screamer wake up...However, as it's Sevenoaks in Brighton selling the Leemas, perhaps you could take your amp along and demo it with them - or is Brighton a bit too far away?

Lol! Trouble is, they'll be awful, because Lancaster cabs are WAY too small for 15" Tannoy DCs.....
It's worth it for the drivers and crossovers, though! Then get Speedy Steve to make some nice 200-250 litre cabs for Alex which will match with his new wooden floor
