Steve champions the rebellion against 'WAF', yet I can tell you it definitely isn't him who wears the pants in his house! More like the floral pinny

That 10% was further refined to an astonishing 5%.
Still waiting to be told just how this (or any such figure) might be derived.
Alex, there are many tuners that will do the job just fine, and for very little money at the moment. An Accuphase would probably cost a bit more that you'd like to spend and you'd probably get into a bidding war with Neil over one of those. A Troughline will give you a great sound as long as you have a decent signal available to you. It would also cost under £100, but if you have to add a decent aerial & have it realigned etc, you might be better off going for a Japanese model. Personally I think that manual units are best & couldn't contemplate owning anything too much beyond Andre's musical timeframe (well, OK '79/80 then).
I'm a bit busy at the mo' but if you see something you fancy on Ebay or somewhere, PM me & I'll happily pass on anything I know. I'm sure Neil will do the same (if you want to risk alerting him to something he might want!!!).

My tuner issue is that my Arcam Delta 80 sounds the best of all, but looks so boring compared to the 70's greats. It was an analogue tuner with digital display.
I can't go on and I can't go back, I don't feel so matter of fact,
I tried and tried to make good sense, What's the good to try it all again?
