For those that are hoarding petrol (either in the tank or in jerry cans) I am wondering if they know that it will only take approx 4 weeks in a tank or 6 months in a sealed container before it goes off and engine performance is compromised?
Also if stockpiling more than 30 litres there are regulatory requirements.

People really are tw@ts, I hate the human race more each day! Had to take Billy to his drum lesson this morning in Stowmarket and then into Ipswich for his tutor - three Tesco, one Sainsbury’s two Esso three BP and one Co-Op petrol station en route - every single one of them closed and “no fuel” signs up.
Then I see on Facebook the Police pleading with motorists to stop calling 999 to report they’re stuck in traffic jams as people have been queuing for petrol! FFS, why would you dial 999 for that, over a 100 calls!
So now there’s nowhere to get petrol, and if you genuinely need to fill up, you’re stuffed. So all those who didn’t panic buy won’t be able to go anywhere, schools, hospitals, shops etc.etc. will now have a percentage of staff that won’t be able to get in causing further downward spirals. And how many HGV drivers have to drive to their depots to get to their lorries, to go and collect the fuel to get to the petrol stations that the bunch of cockwombles have hoarded!
I despair, I really do.
