That might be what it says on a computer search, but it's not reflected in reality. When I go out for meals in this country I'm often disappointed and find the food bland when comparing it with what I eat at home. I'm relating my experience, not relying on AI. I do realise though that Del is an exceptional cook.

The reason why you wouldn't get a steak pudding in Milan is because Italians love eating their own food and don't feel the need to have it adulterated by external influences. It's mostly the same throughout Europe.

Plus, look at all the wonderful seafood that regularly gets shipped to Spain from the UK because the Brits don't like it or don't know what to do with it. If you had a proper food culture, you'd be embracing your natural produce and eating all the wonderful langoustines and lobsters that the Spanish (and others) are very grateful for!

Well I would argue that the views of a self-confessed foodie of Italian heritage who moved to Wales via Glasgow with an exceptional cook for a wife may not be reflected in reality We will just have to agree to disagree on this, and that's fine as with all things food-related I'm really not that bothered. We would probably find more common ground on the subject of music, which after all is what I joined this forum for

That AI overview isn't the preaching of a robot's opinion, rather it is an amalgam of many views by actual humans. I certainly wasn't relying on AI to tell me what I already know.

As I have previously stated many times I am no foodie, and so have no dog in the fight, but I am proudly British, so if someone appears to be dissing British culture they should expect some kind of response.

Well one thing I think we can all agree on, is that based on the posts, Del is an amazing cook and Marco is a very lucky boy! Some really good looking food, which I find all the more admirable with Del being vegetarian.

Tamzin is 18 today, I officially now have an adult daughter!

We’re out for a meal tonight to the Coach and Horses in Woodbridge, which is her choice as we have been there many times for family meals and celebrations. But because we made a bit of a weekend of it, I gave her the choice of meals for Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday she chose her second favourite meal - Beef Wellington - I should have cut it in half to show the steak and filling, but that would have spoiled my air vent “design”!
