Like the Terminator, these speakers'll be back! I reckon the buyer will mysteriously disappear.

They are worth more than £200 but less than £1000 when compared with other speakers for sound quality. I couldn't give a toss about their heritage, collectability or anything else. SQ, and only SQ, counts.

I've seen it before... If others are selling a similar item to yours bid them all up to stupidly high amounts then bidders will be attracted to yours which are still at a sane price or yours also get bid to a stupidly high price 'cos the bidders thought that's now the going rate.... Or something like that anyway.

Seems like an awful lot of effort to me but these are hard times people are getting desperate. I've noticed a lot of eBay users have become more cut throat recently.

There isn't a sane genuine buyer in this world that would pay this price. The new improved versions Sterling Broadcast make cost a fraction of this. The standard ones sounded pretty unimpressive to me back in the day.

No they're rubbish. The only reason I've been watching them is to see how much some mug will pay for them.

Last pair I remember seeing went for c. £250 iirc.
