You should have snapped that up some mug would have paid a good price, they do sound good as Geoff says..However I hate the look of that dull brush finish that they used for those models.. One of the prime reasons i never bought the 'EL5/7' Elcaset machines..

Some of the comments I overheard were quite amusing, one middle aged couple sat behind me, she leans over to him and says 'This only cost £100 - how much have you spent?' He had his head in his hand. Someone should snap these things up pronto.
Hi Martin - it was a pair of RAM 150s I had at Scalford, so these should be even better! £60 is an absolute give-away - I echo that someone should give these a go smartish! (I still smile after the multiple conversations I had at Scalford with loads of people - including one guy who (I shit you not, though he may have been shitting me!) said he had a £30k system and wanted it to sound more like the C.A.C. system! We will definitely be expanding on the C.A.C. idea at the AoS show, if these 200s weren't so far away I'd be snapping them up just for that. In fact, let me check my travel itinerary for the next couple of weeks, hmmmmm...)

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Yes, but the output transformers can be troublesome if someone been a bit merry with them over the years..
