Actually, I started out with my first 'Hi-Fi' (when I was 14) when my cousin gave me his Garrard SP25 MkIII/Goldring G800. I didn't have an amp or speakers, but went out and bought a copy of Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" (their latest release at the time) and sat there with my ear as close as possible to the stylus, listening to it over and over again. The amp and speakers followed a few months later - an Amstrad EX-220 and Solavox PR25 (actually Wharfedale Dentons re-badged as Comet's own brand).Originally Posted by MartinT
