    Nice find André!

Uhers always were under appreciated. A bit like the Tandberg machines, they lived under the shadow of Revox as regards domestic tape recorders

LNB transmission line speakers going cheap so far as they were wrongly titled. Ending soon. In the Midlands.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Rare IMF ALS40 II speakers in Staffordshire. They look in nice condition. These have a seriously wicked bottom end. Looks as though they're going to be cheap. If they were nearer I'd buy them! (Interesting bit of 'barrel' distortion on the piccies.)

A pair of very sweet and smooth soft dome tweeters. I own a pair and they are outstanding, almost like ribbon tweeters for quality.

Look as though they could do with a clean. I've had dealings with the seller, he seems a decent bloke.

...and I've just won them! A pair of Gale GS401s with what looks like just a four bass driver re-foaming job, which I've done before on a pair of JBLs. Not bad for £38.69 collect. I think he did me a favour there by just having 'Speakers' in the title.

In case anyone is wondering, I have the idea of using them at shows since my Ushers are utterly immovable. I'll report on refurbishing them when I make a start.
