Very early styling for NAD? Was that also designed here and made in the far east?

The model '90' was the 2nd unit they made...they were made in Japan & excellent build quality...I will only entertain the Model '60'/'90' Amps & '120'/'140'/'160' Recievers...

Wouldn't say no to "model 200" & "model 300" ....Not that I've ever seen any for sale!

    www.hifi-studio.de/hifi-klassiker/nad.htm

Had the 60 & 160a, both knackered up before I had the knowledge/will to fix them bearing in mind you couldn't give kit like that away 10 years ago

IIRC the real wood veneer on the receivers was far higher quality than anyone else had at the time, really pretty after a beeswax polish.

    Shane:
I paid £90.00 for mine, £120.00 for the '160' around 2 years ago.

    James:
Yes the reciever Veneer was nice however that 'Mode 90' is not real veneer.

Nice link..Don't like '300' amp the flip switches completely destroy the good looks that the '60/'90' had..Same goes for the '300' reciever the two flip switches spoil the the Aesthetic imho..

It doesnt mention but there was a very rare matching Cassette deck & Tuner..
