I went through a phase where I would buy work that was "challenging" - the Subotnick was one such. I have a couple of Stockhausen records; again I'm still trying to 'get into them'!

Other composers have been more successful: Liegeti, Berg and Schoenberg amongst others. Still trying with Webern though.

Mind you, I'm still trying to 'get into' my late father's opera collection.
