I've not been back to that den of idjuts since I did my leetle flounce.
Fair enough, and that goes for me too.
I even liked aspects of the Heresy II - a real dynamic bouncy enthusiasm to the sound, even if it was horribly coloured.
Don't get me wrong - I really enjoy what Harbeths do well (to my ears) but I just can't get on with what I hear as the underlying tedium of the presentation, and I would choose not to live with that.
Life's too short for boring hifi!
I've had lots of kit that I really enjoyed that was obviously flawed.
You just have to choose the compromises that you are happy with.![]()
