    Andre,

Just to let you know I got your PM about the 'other' amplifiers but can't reply as you've apparently chosen not to receive PMs. Send me your email if you like - I promise not to spam you with useless rubbish!

On the topic of the Audio Concepts amps - they do look rather nice...

I used to have one of those!
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

The plinth looks like it was made at Ikea - what have you got in mind for it?
    Hi Julian.

I'll check the plinth over and see if it can be fettled. I'd like to keep it original and looking as near brand new as possible. I can't tell if it's got a laminated skin or not, but anyway, I expect I'll take it back to bare wood and refinish it maybe black or wood veneer, but keeping the 'Dual' logo strip. It would probably benefit from extra bracing and perhaps some damping material. I may have a lid to fit too.

Obviously though, the first job will be overhauling the TT itself with maybe a rewire.

I reckon the arm could well be good enough for my Denon DL-160.

I just like to hoard late 60's/early 70's Japanese amps & recievers like this

This model is like the late 60's Trio amps in the respect that all the lettering is pressed into the facia, no cacky screen priniting

I bought a new Luxman R600 receiver back about 1975, that was a lovely bit of kit. As were the Harman Kardon 430 and 730 receivers I also added to the collection. The 730 was actually the best of them.

Andre, if you need any parts, I may just have some bits that'll suit.
