certainly worth it for the jordan watts drivers that often fetch £150 a pair. Wonder what that early Celestion tweeter is though. I've one of those crossovers floating around somewhere...

Never seen a pair with HF1300 tweeters before, why is it used here? The HF1300 extends up to 13kHz and the Jordan Watts module extends up to 20kHz (allegedly). This model normally came with a Goodmans DT3 tweeter, as I recall. Earlier versions of the Juno had no tweeter.

The Jordan Watts units were a good idea, but poorly executed. The rather enclosed chassis basket caused some obvious colourations right through the midrange.

I believe that the usual tweeter was a normal dome tweeter. Not sure if that HF1300 was an afterthought by someone, as mentioned, it's the retail version, just the usual one, plastic pot on the back with screw connectors.

How old are you Alex? If you're over forty, I doubt you can hear much higher than the HF1300 goes. The HF1300 is virtually flat to 13kHz, then cuts off dead, there is absolutely no output at all above that point.

Whereas, the Jordan Watts Module has a falling HF output curve but extends up to around 20kHz, which is why the Goodmans DT3 soft dome was normally used on later models, as it extended up to 22kHz fairly flatly.

I believe I may have response graphs for all these drive units knocking about somewhere.

It'll be interesting to see what these fetch, Tannoy GRFs (rectangular type). I don't think the guy knows quite what he's got there.

That's the value of the drive units more or less covered, anything further will be because of the cabinets they're in.
