Probably worth the asking price just for the Decca London ribbon tweeters.

Probably a rarity cos people scrap the cabinets and sell just the decca's

I don't see these selling unfortunately and will probably go the same way eventually.

They've been around in dealer world for many years, good reviews etc sold for example by Coherent Systems.

Sound like expensive foo to me that could be replicated by some scrap materials - cost of things like this prevent the curious from chopping them up and actually seeing what they are. Normally find it's something adapted from some other industry and multiplied a few times in price..

Not the things I've bought in the past.. many have been fully working or just needed basic repair. Have to go on instinct.

"untested" means simply "not many will bid" in my book.

Unfortunately the reserve on means it will be £50 at the minimum.

    The mysterious RAM LS3/5a !

After a badly researched Hifi News article said that they were never produced, LS3/5a nerds have argued ever since..

They did make them and here's another pair with serial numbers in the 13,000s for what that's worth (have seen probably 4 or 5 listings over the years).

    Some interesting Jordan Watts:

certainly worth it for the jordan watts drivers that often fetch £150 a pair. Wonder what that early Celestion tweeter is though. I've one of those crossovers floating around somewhere...

The tweeter is a retail version of the Celestion HF1300, I have a pair somewhere. I also have a pair of Jordan Watts Juno (I think), same Jordan Watts Module unit. In the early 70's I used to work for Boosey and Hawkes, distributors / retailers for Jordan Watts.
