Bargains on ebay?

Oh ok - I think I came accross their website recently when doing a search for something.

I got the impression he was a bit overwhelmed with all the stuff, or just keen to shift some of it to make some room. I think they recently requested offers on it as a 'job lot' through their website. It wouldn't surprise me if stuff was finding its way on to ebay. I never went for the Quads in the end, got a pair of a mate,

Thought this was an interesting read. At least the seller seems to know what he's talking about.

In the case of those drivers I'd say yes, they look like Monacor units, he appears to sell quite a few Monacor drivers

However, in the case of the bass or subwoofer drivers he's selling you really need to look up the manufacturers data to check that what he's describing as having 'X' amount of excursion is actually linear & not the mechanical limits

ATC SCM20SL comes close, but you'd need a big amp & they do cost money I'm afraid, so does a big muscle amp

Pioneer PD-S504, Stable Platter model with coax digital output and Legato Link Conversion, which I rather like despite some detractors, it does seem to allow a more 'analogue' type of rendition.

Should go cheap and they tend to be reliable too.
