    Preamps: Heavily-modified Croft Charisma-X. Power Amps: Tube Distinctions Copper Amp, fitted with Tungsol KT-150s. Quad 306.

    Cables & Sundries: Mark Grant HDX1 interconnects and digital coaxial cable, plus Mark Grant 6mm UP-LCOFC Van Damme speaker cable. MCRU 'Ultimate' mains leads. Lehmann clone headphone amp with vintage Koss PRO-4AAA headphones.

    Tube Distinctions digital noise filter. VPI HW16.5 record cleaning machine.

    Speakers: Tannoy 15MGs in Lockwood cabinets with modified crossovers. 1967 Celestion Ditton 15.

    The principal is excellent, just way, way, over engineered, and will beat any clamp or weight sold, and that is from someone that marketed Michell's clamp to the UK when new. No good on suspended belt drives though for obvious reasons. There are easier ways to do this though.

    Usually sell in Japan for at least £150 more than that. That seems like a fair price even with the BS.

    Great find, but bet the final price will be a lot higher. Is it going to affect the price of older Ardens and Berkeleys? Tempted to sell my B's now, only jesting. Interesting that the xover dials are pre HPD385A & B and that this is their FIRST sale (0)!
