Lol - I think that Chris is getting a bit greedy in his old age! He sold me my Lockwood Majors, with 15" Tannoy MGs, for less than that, and the Major cabinets are much bigger than the LE1s!
Those LE1 cabinets are good, but way too small to allow 15" drivers to perform optimally....... That's why you need the 'wardrobes' that I have, to do the job right!

My first cassette deck was the model below this, the RS-263US (there's one of those on eBay as well) and it made some very good recordings. Simple but nicely engineered.

Anyone know what models they were? £1200 or so - wish I'd had the cash at the time. Drivers from the SRM15X ara.
Might search through my email notifications and see if they sold..
