TBH, I'd buy them for the casings, and then even if the amps were pants, I'd have one of our resident trusted DIY-ers pop their own design in (to my spec)

Made it a bit of a mission to get myself a pair of Wharfedale Diamond IV's dirt cheap, having read in various places they are a bit of a "giant killer" - £8.09 is cheap enough to find out! (Took me about 18 months of trying to get some close enough and this cheap though!)

Defo a bargain, Alex, so well done, but not a patch on the original Diamonds from the '80s...
Those are the babies to have, which are musically addictive in a way that all other Diamonds which deviate from the original design (and drivers used) aren't.
However, what you've bagged will still be a fun little pair of speakers, at a stupid price, so enjoy!
