The Pioneer PD-91 was a superb machine. I loved mine and it lasted a good few years in my system. Wish I hadn't sold it, in fact.

I think it is "only" about 3,000 - and I bought my first CD player in '91 - (for home/personal use) - so it isn't as bad as it sounds... An average of 150 per year, 12 a month, or 3 a week... Ok, so maybe that is bad!

This is the Magic Eraser set into some dendro-bling to justify a price of £40.
You can buy enough Magic Eraser to last you several lifetimes for about £3. Slice a bit off, stick it to a 2p piece & yer away.
I bought some about 5 years ago & I'm still on my first 1.5" sq piece

Ohh yes sir, and don't stand to close with a lit cigarette the whole bloody deck could go up, tricky stuff vinyl highly volatile and lethal in the right hands the shite that some folks pedal

No idea what this will sound like, but had a hankering to own an early CD player - I never bothered with CD until 1991, and then only half-heartedly, so missed out on the early players... Just a bit of fun, really, and maybe in my Cheap as Chips system...?

Missed the delivery yesterday but collected it today - in great condition, everything seems to work and after a couple of tracks doesn't sound half bad at all. Unsurprisingly, it is not as good as the Marantz/Caiman combo, but the difference isn't embarrassing for the old Pioneer...

Will be interesting to see if it works well with the Cambridge P50 amp and RAM 150 speakers as my 'CAC' system...
