If some Ditton 25's came up cheap, I would try them. In fact I have some spare Ditton 25/44/66 12" bass units and I am thinking of paring them with some KEF T15 tweeters.

The T15's are quite a large dome, so should be a better match to the 12" bass units than the HF1300's in the Ditton 25. I suspect that this would make a nice system. It may even be possible to mount the T15 coaxially within the bass unit. This would be handy as I have some empty vintage Tannoy DC cabinets.

Had a good day on the bay yesterday, load of Revox 'A77' spares.

Aluminium Reel turntables to replace the the standard plastic ones, a bit steep at £28.00 but i had to have em, complete alloy chassis £4.00, Grey textured finish back pannel, minto condition £13.00, i never liked the shiney grey version (i desperatly need a pannel to replace mine with the deep spool impressions), remote dummy plug £8.00, the machine wont operate on it's own without one of these inserted a hand full of spare boards & switch assemblies for beer money..
