I'd like to offer belated thanks to Chris (Satan Friendly) for an excellent transaction involving a rather sexy Thorens TD160mkII, SME SeriesIII, and a few other items which he very kindly threw in with the deal. I drove all the way to Liverpool to pick up the Thorens and I'm very glad I did. I spent a very enjoyable few hours with both Chris and his son chatting about hifi, music, scifi and life in general. We also listened to some spiffing sounds on his fantastic systems. You're a real gent Chris, thanks a million buddy...

I'd also like to thank Stan Beresford for the excellent Gator'd Caiman he supplied me. Been about a month of ownership now and the little box of tricks just keeps getting better and better...

Stan has the patience of a saint To explain: I paid for the Caiman via PayPal and at that very moment PP decided to launch a security investigation into my account, thus freezing it in mid-transaction. The security check halted 4 ongoing transactions altogether leading to a very stressful and frantic evening contacting the four sellers to explain what the devil was going on. Three of the sellers, one of them being Stan, were absolutely fine about the situation. The remaining seller was a complete sod though and cancelled the sale with a very curt email despite my careful and polite explanation of the situation. Needless to say I won't be purchasing from this outfit again...
