Interesting... The guy lives in Tarporley, which is only down the road from me. It'd be funny if there were rare vintage drivers inside, but I suspect not.A nice looking pair of antique speaker cabinets. Just the right size to make something interesting with.

My guess is that the speaker grilles are the originals, in which case they are possibly Sansui or Pioneer from the 70s? - unlikely to be a set of Tannoy Golds I reckon...Interesting... Yep, they look like Sansui's to me, maybe sitting on home made plinths - I know some of the Sansui's had little plinths like that, but those are taller than I've seen before & that's a bad veneer match.

Yes - but Sansui made a lot of different models and of all sorts of sizes, over a long period of time. The picture was to illustrate the grilles. Those grilles were hand assembled and finished from wood - real workmanship.
