Holly Bruce has tabled the motion at Holyrood in support of food historian Peter Gilchrist's push to have the roll added to UNESCO's Living Heritage project in 2027, a scheme that allows people to nominate cultural traditions for protection.
Morning rolls are should be protected apparently just like the baguette.

Apart from the green crap, obviously, which belongs on the side of the plate where its pleasing aesthetics can be briefly admired and then it can be ignored for the rest of the meal.
