    Kelis - Kaleidoscope (1999)



    Loved this when it came out, not played in a very very long time. Production duties by The Neptunes is on point, and eclectic songs. Retrospective reviews seem to paint it as “groundbreaking” at the time.

    Her last album Food was in 2014 and then she turned to actual food, becoming a saucier and releasing her own line of sauces and running a street food truck and touring UK festivals!

    She seems to have largely disappeared from music and the limelight, and moved to run a farm in Kenya with her children following the death of her second husband in 2022.
