The dial is far too 'messy' - I can't see the point in having a window showing the mechanism if it obscures the smaller dials. But that's just my opinion.

I'm not a big fan of "open heart" watches, but do like a full "skeleton" which doesn't make much sense, really!
Yesterday I managed to get my jacket sleeve caught in a rotary wire brush I was using with an electric drill, which then pulled it into contact with my skin on my left wrist and hand - not particularly bad, but a bit sore, so I won't be wearing a watch for a few days! I really should be banned from any DIY activity, as either something gets broken or I get broken!

When using any power tools I always roll up my sleeves, and if using a rotary wire brush will wear goggles as well. Luckily you were sensible enough to have removed your watch, otherwise that would have been badly scratched as well.
Trust the scratches on you wrist heal very soon. Take care: we need to read about what you are up to!
