Seems to be quite a few different Nautilus. Yes, the prices are staggering even for a used one!
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > Troels Gravesen Faital 3WC-15.

Handsome looking watch - I like it. What are the set of holes in the lugs on the left and right (winder) sides of the watch for?

(On a completely different topic, I visited the Science Museum a few months ago for the first time in at least 20 years. I was most disappointed: most of the 'hands on' displays intended for education had gone; the display of cameras and their invention had gone, and worse of all the display of sound recording and reproduction equipment was pathetic; concentrating on digital and on-line promulgation. It is supposed to be a museum, so where were the reel-to-reel tape machines, and the Quad 57s that used to hang from the ceiling?)

Got the red one (not sure if I prefer this one or the stainless steel version? Will probably get both.)

To be honest Barry I don’t know what the holes are for, they look like they are hinges, they are on the original and my copy, but as to what the actual function is I am unsure.

I do know what you mean about the museum - it had changed a lot since I had last visited (probably only a 10 year gap) and not all for the better! I never found any audio gear at all, although we didn’t cover the whole thing so no doubt tucked away.

Nice one, Roy, I do like the gold/red, unusually as not a big fan of gold watches normally, but red and stainless does go together nicely, too. Yeah, get both!

Got an Invicta one similar to that, you’ve always got your phone to fall back on if you need the time.

I quite like that one, but what are the three second hand dials for? Stopwatch function?
