    Default Anyone keen on watches?

I’ve heard good reports on the Ratio, not succumbed yet…

Today another Submariner style Seiko mod with NH35 movement and “Starbucks” style, picked up for only £40 secondhand - probably worth twice that now just for the movement alone - they’ve gone through the roof! Had been thinking of having a go at doing my own build, but that’s a completely new (potentially expensive!) rabbit hole!

Wow - that's adventurous of you! Do you have any experience of watchmaking?

Bound to be a Youtube video on how to do it. I mean, how hard can it be?

Nope, not at all - and a "mod" would really just be putting it together, not actually building the movement or anything - from what I've seen and read, putting the hands on is the hardest part!

“Suited and booted” in the office today so something a little more formal - the Addiesdive I mentioned before, with a lovely textured “sand dial” and again, Seiko NH35 movement.

    I wear this one mostly.

Simple and easy to read. ST3601 mechanical movement in a 44mm case with a Type-A flieger dial. I dismantled it and changed the H/M hands for a set of Sinn-alike hands I got from a chap on Ali. The lume is immense.

I can read it without my reading glasses on.

Ah, that's my kind of watch Roy - I can afford to keep those running

Yep indeed. I've been on The Watch Forum and TZUK for many moons - for as long as this place has been around.
