I view it as a transition album, some is very good, especially lyrically - it's different and because of that a lot don't like it. My best mate thought it was their best album, but he was nearly ten years younger than me. It's certainly not terrible

Possibly, but I think 'The Wall' is utter crap, and unlike virtually everybody else, I don't think much of 'Wish You Were Here' either.

Only bought it quite recently, and found I like it more than I used to, so I will be getting it on vinyl later this year. So Macca, this CD (Canadian import, though I expect it's just the same) has got your name on it

Is it the 2004 remaster with the additional track 'When The Tigers Broke Free'?

100% expected her to be, more pop-country than real country, but for a heathen like me, I really liked her (I played her first album straight after), especially her voice. In fact, I might give her another go after I've finished playing Alice Costello for the umpteenth time...

Pink Floyd are one of those bands that I never really liked when I was younger - some of my mates were really into them in the 80's but I didn't really get it. I'm not a massive fan even now after acquiring all of their albums on CD with the 2011 "Discovery" Remasters but rarely play them... Maybe I'll have a PF night tonight.

All I was trying to say was having followed the career of the Floyd from when I first heard them play live (when Syd Barrett was still active) and in having all of their recordings, I have to say I find Waters's solo output more interesting than that of Dave Gilmour’s, Rick Wright's or Nick Mason's solo output.

I don't give buttons for any of their solo output. I remember a mate getting Gilmour's first solo album and we all went round for a listen - major disappoint.

Water's is probably the most interesting in terms of content but I still don't rate any of it. Only one decent tune on each except 'Pros & Cons' which has zero.

Seeing as it's all about PF today stuck this one which also not heard in years. First album I ever heard via CD - 1986. Although this is the 92 remaster
