Yet, this is where Thee Marloes were born—a trio comprising singer-keyboardist Natassya Sianturi, drummer Tommy Satwick, and guitarist Sinatrya Dharaka. On their second album, Di Hotel Malibu, they embrace a voluptuous, languorous sound—an atmosphere beautifully heightened by the sweetness of Sianturi's vocals—all while anchoring their music in the rich heritage of American soul.

Regina Spektor - 'Mary Ann meets the Gravediggers and other short stories' CD, WEA International, 2005

Not bad - in fact quite good really. This is a double disc package consisting of an audio CD and a DVD.

Normally I dislike video discs of audio performances: they are often live recordings and don't really add much. This on the other hand is somewhat different and are a series of short films. Skillfully done using the whole gamut of video techniques; stop action; solarisation; image negative and action reversal, they are quirky, at times self indulgent, but interesting and worth watching.

Lucy Dacus - Forever is a Feeling (2025)



Doesn’t really innovate in the genre but she has a nice voice and the album has good arrangements and excellent production. A grower, I feel.
