Nee, naa, nee, naa, nee, naa . . . . milk police here, just popped into say thanks Justin, I bought this for the first time over the weekend - golly gosh, tastes like real milk, instead of bilge water!
So you can get decent milk in a Supermarket. Thanks for the tip

Some people have no idea what they're doing and a lot of them are really good at it.

Sainsbury's do remarkably decent Jersey milk.
Graham's do a good Jersey one too, but beware. The homogenised version is not good. The other one is. This rule applies universally. H marks milk destruction.
AI seems to reckon there is a bit of a backlash against bastardised, destroyed milk fat cells in water. I only hope it is right![]()
Just the boys for dinner tonight as wife’s turn to see RAYE at the O2 with daughter, so my son’s favourite, Spag Bol.

Onion, celery, carrots and mushrooms all in the sauce, Barry - the secret way to get veg into kids!

You definitely win in the vegetable stakes as usual, Barry! We try to have one veggie and one fish dinner a week, but not always easy to come up with recipes everyone likes, especially as wife and son are very picky on texture, and hate anything like lentils or chickpeas. But I can’t go wrong with mushrooms!

If you count eating eggs as being vegetarian, then yes, I too eat one fish and one 'vegetarian' meal a week. My partner is an icthiophage (fish eater), so we eat quite a bit of fish: usually seafood such as king prawns or shrimps, but sometimes sea bass, haddock, plaice or cod.
Also, despite my moniker, I try to have a couple of days a week that are alcohol free.
Barry
I decided to do “Dry January” again this year, then when February came I thought I might as well go until Valentine’s. Then I thought my birthday, 17th Feb, which coincided with Shrove Tuesday, so then I thought I’d extend it for Lent. Easter has come and gone, and I still haven’t had any alcohol at all!
I’m not saying I have quit, but at the moment am not drinking, and don’t really want to, which I never thought would happen in a million years! I do feel a lot healthier, wake up every morning with a clear head, have lost over 2 stone and saved a few quid, so I can only see the upside of temperance currently!
