As Skoda are paying a chunk of the repair cost, I decided that life is too short and bought the 2nd hand Primare Pre32.
It is a well built Class A pre amp, which is what I was looking for.

I decided that the Atoll was too expensive, as I want to buy a robot mower this year, so I have more time to listen to music, instead of cutting the grass.
