Yes, just look at the prices asked in charity shops: £4 for Val Doonican etc., and £10 for something worth listening to; regardless of condition.
That said, CDs are returning to my local shop.

Spoon is one of those bands where I appear to only have bought one of their CDs (Gimme Fiction, 2005) which I loved, but then never investigated the back catalogue (at the time) or have followed since. Weird, because I really like Gimme Fiction, so will be rectifying that with some Tidal listening! Thanks for the nudge, Mike - that's why I love this thread!
