    The starting bid on the RAM speakers has miraculously gone from £0.99 to £250.00….

    It was £250 when I first looked which wasn't that long after you posted them.

    Easy worth that anyway. Being collection only plus most eBay punters won't have a clue what they are I reckon they won't go for much more.

    I won't buy anything on eBay these days due to most sellers stating 'collection only'. There is a piece of audio electronics which interest me, but the 'collection only' condition means there will be no purchase from me.

    Speakers are perhaps a different matter, but quotes can be obtained from couriers for delivery costs in advance, if the interested buyer gives a rough idea of their location.

    It's just to much aggro to ship speakers. Cost aside it's easy for them to get damaged. I suppose if they're really small it isn't too bad but otherwise the heroic levels of packing required make it a no-go for me. In fact I won't ship speakers even if I have all the original packing, which I often do.
