I'm Lawrence.
Don't recognise the receiver but its not Goodmans. The turntable is a Garrard AP76.
As an aside, the television is a Murphy and my parents had one - my mum wanted it because it was white. It was also very trendy in its day and featured in a lot of 1960s television programmes. It was black and white and long after everyone had changed to colour, they still had it as my dad simply took it to work and fixed it when anything went wrong, much to my mother's annoyance.
When it finally died, my mother wanted another white television and the only company that offered one in 1978 was Bang & Olufsen, so she went out and spent £400 on a Beovision 3502. Dad was furious!

Update - I have consulted with a greater mind than mine, and the receiver is a Rank Arena T-2700.

I must admit I do have a penchant for white hifi/TV's so I'm with your mum on that Adam. At one point my Garrad had a white plinth, courtesy of some rattle cans from Halfords c. 1988.
We had a white spherical TV in the early 70's, from a bit of googling probably either a Keracolor Sphere or a JVC Videosphere - i have a photo of me in the living room with it somewhere.
I can still hear and feel those TV buttons from back then. I remember on a later "normal" TV the whole button panel folded out to reveal the tuning wheels, I think?![]()

There is only one way to avoid criticism: do nothing, say nothing and be nothing Aristotle
I remember we had one where you pushed a panel and a draw came out with the tuning dials. My father gradually edged up the screen size as they became cheaper - they were all rented of course.
I had a white telly but it was only a black and white portable. I ran the sound out of the headphone socket into some big 4-ways. Coat hanger for aerial but lived on a hilltop back then so could get still get Granada, Central and S4C.
