Homemade lasagne, with broccoli and carrots:

And this time washed down with a glass or two of a 2020 L'Épiphanie de Margaux.

Lasagne in particular looks epic, Barry. And as always, your consumption of vegetables is commendable!

I made Cheeseburger Pasta tonight, but forgot to take a picture.

Out for a family meal tonight to Meze in Stowmarket, Turkish restaurant with fantastic reviews - well warranted, a lovely dinner - I had the mix kebab and absolutely stuffed. We will return.

    Thanks Alex.

The lasagne was made by my partner and we had the rest of it this evening:

But this time we had a white grenache rosé to drink:

Looks lovely Alex! When we go Turkish, we always have meze to start and I have a kebab, similar to what you ate tonight. My partner usually has a fish option.

I forego any dessert as I find Turkish sweets far too sugary for my tastes. But as I'm often completely full, it doesn't matter.

That Lasagne looks proper, something I could get along with. Unlike the shop-bought ones Anita occasionally gets whenever she forgets about my protestations, which are basically just a puddle of cheesy slop.

Agree about Turkish sweets too - I've only been subjected to them once (at our hotel while holidaying in Turkey). Just cakes soaked in syrup in varying colours. Probably the only time I actually lost weight on holiday.
