I've lost my camera, so won't be able to post photos of our gastronomic delights.

I'll just enjoy looking at your photos instead.

Chicken Souvlaki done on the BBQ with veggie kebab and salads.

Still trying to be healthy and lose some weight - 9lbs in 4 weeks so far, off the booze too which has probably contributed more than the healthier grub!

Well done Alex, I could do with losing about 9lbs, then another 20 or so. Problem is I do like eating, even more than I dislike having 70% of my wardrobe unwearable.

Yeah, I've got at least another 20 to go! Ideally 3 stone in total, I've done more than that before but it is a slog. I did manage to stay at my "fighting weight" for a few years, then around this time last year I got an attack of sciatica which left me virtually unable to walk for 6 weeks. It got better for about 2 weeks, then it struck again and lasted another 6 weeks or so, so best part of 5 months hardly doing any exercise and not compensating by cutting down the calories, hence the weight gain.

It was the wardrobe thing that made me take stock and get back on the regime - as I wear suits for work, I would have no choice but to buy bigger ones, and I'm too tight (pun intended!) to do that again!
