Good choices Alex, most are frequent plays round here, especially Everything But The Girl. Do you have "Walking Wounded"? Beautifully produced, and Tracy Thorn's voice I could listen to all day. I vaguely remember 10,000 Maniacs, and I did have one of their albums, can't remember which one. How does her solo effort compare?

I do indeed have “Walking Wounded” so that’s the first play of the day sorted!

A bit like you, 10,000 Maniacs largely passed me by, but I would say her solo stuff is a bit more demure and stripped back, but still with a lovely voice.

Another one I’ve not played in full for years, though “6 Underground” and “Spin Spin Sugar” are on my playlist.

The Tori Amos one I played last night was one of the first if not first CD album I bought, too.

Just managed to drag myself out of the 90’s - just - from 2000, but still female vocals and a chillout vibe.

No idea how good it sounds, or if I would like it. But what a superb name for a group - love it!
