In 1973 Are You Experienced and Axis: Bold as Love were put together and that's the version I have. Been a few years since this came off the shelf, as last time I tried it the 'Experienced' disc was so warped the cartridge thought it was on a roller coaster. Turns out the 'Axis' disc is fine, perfect even, with not even any crackles. So that's what I'm playing.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

Sacrilegious as it may sound, I don’t have any Hendrix studio albums, just a compilation, but I do have Tidal so giving Axis a go now. [emoji846]

While you're at it give Electric Ladyland pt. 1 a go too. That is my favourite Hendrix album

    Anyway, next on the t/t:

I think the best Hendrix is him playing live, really.

'Hendrix In The West' probably. Another one I haven't played in years as I only have it on vinyl.

The only record I have of Hendrix playing live is the 'freebie' compilation of the concert at the Albert Hall in 1969, which was attached to the Sunday Times magazine.

I have one called Band of Gypsys, with Buddy Miles and Biily Cox, recorded live at Fillmore East. It's pretty good.
