I ought to add that whilst many think the '80s was the decade that forgot music (much in the same way the '70s was the decade that forgot fashion), I like a lot of the '80s output and have much of it on record.

80's was pretty good for music, Dire Straits, The Blue Nile, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Echo and the Bunneymen, U2, The Comsat Angels, The Cure, Howard Jones, OMD, Yazoo, Marillion, The The, and Kate Bush to name a few and so on. The 90's was a bit questionable, although there were some exceptions, Red Hot Chilli Peppers(became more mainstream), Faithless, Mary Black released some great albums in the 90's, I never got into Oasis and still don't like their output much, Blur were good.

Good album. I actually have this twice - I already had Mud Slide Slim, but then we were at a record fair in Bowness three years ago, and this was for sale as a double (paired up with Sweet Baby James) at a price I couldn't ignore.

What is the Cat Stevens one like? I bought "Tea for the Tillerman" on your recommendation iirc, then followed it with "Teaser and the Firecat". Both of which I really like.

IMO 'Catch Bull at Four' is one of Cat Steven's weaker recordings. I picked it up cheap in a charity shop in near mint condition for a couple of quid, so it was a bit of a no-brainer.

She has sold 50 million albums worldwide and this album her fourth studio album has two iconic tracks, “Breathe” which spent 6 weeks at the top of the country chart and 5 weeks at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, the second single ”The Way You Love Me” spent an incredible 56 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart !
