Been a fan since the first album and bought them all as they came out up to 'Californication' in 1999.

This one is a bit of a reminder of how far behind I've got with keeping up with music since the turn of the century - it came out way back in July 2002.

Californication is the last RHCP album I bought, too - I love it, that’s going on now!

I stopped keeping up around 2013, once I went full on streaming and have rarely bought any CDs or records since - part of the reason I reactivated my Tidal subscription - I will have to check out some of the later [emoji2420] Chillies.

Actually that was a big fat lie - just checked and I do have By The Way and also from 2004, double CD Live in Hyde Park, and also went to one of the dates where it was recorded in June 2004. Christ, that was nearly 20 years ago, doesn’t feel like it!

I stopped buying music magazines in about 2003, I think that contributed to the lapse. Plus fifteen years not doing anything much except working, boozing and sleeping. It's worrying how fast the world passes you by!
