My Squale, had this about a year now, but only started wearing it recently, first thought I liked it, then I hated it, now I love it.

Picked this up on Amazon a few weeks ago, automatic, genuine leather strap, but bloody useless as a watch as the hands are far too thin, but who uses a watch to tell the time these days when you’re sat in front of a computer or device most of the day? a nice piece of wrist jewellery!

My Armitron has been dispatched but does not get here until 20th.

Not sure if it's being transported by pack animal down the silk road or something. Or maybe they are building it to order. I mean I know you have to wait ages for a new BMW but a cheap watch?
    Current Lash Up:

    Where’s it coming from Martin?

I often find items sent from the far east arrive much quicker than the estimate.

I don't know. DPD delivery but the tracking number shows invalid so probably not in the UK yet. Ordered it off of Amazon.

Had a look at the page I ordered it off and there is some blurb about US imports so maybe it is coming from there?

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”
